Safety Out & About

Fun with Reflectors (Science)
Preschool & Kindergarten

Gather some flashlights, some bike reflectors, and a large, thick blanket. Drape the blanket over one of your tables so that it creates a dark room underneath. Have the children experiment with the flashlights and the reflectors underneath the table.

Let the Ball Roll (Music & Language)
Toddlers through beginning elementary

(Sung to the tune of ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’)

No matter where the ball may go…
Just let it roll, let it roll…

If it rolls out in the street
Just let it go, don’t chase it please

No matter where the ball may go
Please be safe just let it roll.
